Please pray for Carol Bland & Bill Bland. She is the wife of a dear friend & MD Anderson just told them that the lab test showed that the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes.
Please pray for me. I have found out that my department might be closed down in April-May and there is no jump to spot in the company. Please pray for God’s favor in finding a new job and that He will give me the patience and trust to rely on His will.
Prayers are asked for my wife Billie. She is in severe pain due to over stressed back and chest muscles. There may be neurve damage also. Please pray for pain relief and for her to be healed, by our Lord”s will, as it will be done on earth, as in Heaven. Amen
“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another plance, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that youhave come to royal position for such as time as this. Esther 4:14
Heavenly Father, we lift up all bishops who are attending Lambeth this week especially: Primates Rowan Williams, Mouneer Anis, John Chew, Ian Earnest, Valentine Mokiwa, Bernard Ntahoture, and Greg Venables. US bishops Bob Duncan, Jack Iker, Mark Lawrence, Bill Love, Bruce McPherson and James Stanton. Communion Bishops, Derek Eaton, Andrew Proud, Pie Ntukamazina, Sixbert Macumi, Jean Nduwayo, Matin Nyaboho, Eraste Bigarimana, Michael Scott-Joynt, Harold Miller, William Anderson, Andrew Atagotaaluk, Terrence Buckle, Anthony Burton, Ronald Ferris.
Father, grant them your grace to stand strong for your Word and against any distraction that would draw your church from its true mission. Give them wisdom, boldness and courage that with the inspiration of your Holy Spirit they may know your will, proclaim your Word, and correct your church as is their duty. Lord grant them protection from the deception and temptation of the evil one to trade your blessed word for the treasures of this world: power, money, prestige, or other temptations. Grant that they and all of your faithful people may have a closer relationship with you through the reconciling work your Son our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Father we also lift up those bishops who have not attended Lambeth with their bretheren, including our own bishop Emanual Kolini, because of the failure of the communion to abide by your laws and discipline those who teach false doctrine. May you bless them, and make them ever ready to forgive and receive those who repent and return to you. May their witness and testimony be a light to the rest of the communion and world and a clear call to repentance for those who have turned away from the true gospel message.
Almighty God, giver of all good things, who by thy Holy Spirit has appointed divers order of ministers in thy Church; Mercifully behold thy servants, now called to the Work and Ministry of a Bishop; and so replenish them with the truth of thy Doctrine, and adorn them with innocency of life, that, both by word and deed, they may faithfully serve thee in thier Office, to the glory of thy Name, and the edifying and well-governing of thy Church; through the merits of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who liveth and reigneth with thee and the same Holy Spirit, world without end. Amen.
Lord Jesus Christ, our creator, redeemer and only savior, we are so very thankful for the blessings you have given to St. Timothy’s. For your work in transforming our lives and healing our bodies and spirits, we give you thanks and praise. For providing a place to worship, chairs, sound system, and needed finances, we give you thanks. For raising up and inspiring godly, servant leaders and lay volunteers we are grateful.
You are a mighty king and you have established us in the midst of a broken culture and asked us to be a light. However, in your mercy you have been the source of the light and means for communicating your glory through word of mouth, newspaper, and internet to many people of different backgrounds and locations.
Thank you Lord Jesus for the gift of the Holy Spirit to instruct, guide and comfort us. Thank you for forgiving us our many transgressions and giving us the privelege of repeating your word by what we say and do. Thank you for allowing us to come before you by prayer and through the sacraments and for giving us a place and a purpose in your body with Timothy and all of your saints.
We have done nothing to deserve your mercy toward us and have nothing to return except our praise and thanksgiving. All we have, our lives, our families, our posessions, our vocations has been given to us and we offer it all to your service.
Please keep us ever mindful of your grace toward us and help us to love your through our gratitude, prayer, worship, service, and obedience.
Father in Heaven, I lift up Fr. Stan, Fr. Craig, our staff and lay leadership. Please strengthen your relationship with them, protect them from evil, guide them in their decisions and discussion, unify them in you truth and love, seal them with you Holy Spirit, and grant them wisdom, power, and authority as needed to build your kingdom and bring glory and honor to you.
Lord, give them eyes to see this world as you see and a heart to love and care for each other and all those you place in their paths. Help them to break every stronghold of the enemy and to be agents of healing for our parish.
Please pray for Carol Bland & Bill Bland. She is the wife of a dear friend & MD Anderson just told them that the lab test showed that the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes.
